Lou – Head Trainer
Lou brings over a decade of hands-on experience working with dogs in both rescue environments and professional training settings. Their background includes rehabilitating complex behavioural cases, supporting reactive dogs, and helping owners build calm, confident relationships with their pets.
Lou is a NePoPo® Gold School graduate – a qualification that demonstrates their commitment to clear communication, motivation‑based training, and technical precision. NePoPo® is a registered trademark of B.C.BB B.V. (Michael and Bart Bellon) and is used here with permission.
What sets Lou apart is their ability to truly understand dogs. They have an exceptional talent for reading subtle behaviour, identifying the root of a problem, and communicating in a way that makes sense to both dog and owner.
Clients often describe Lou as a translator – someone who can take a dog’s behaviour and turn it into clear, actionable insight. Watching Lou guide a reactive or overwhelmed dog into a calmer, more stable state is not only impressive, but deeply reassuring for owners.
If you’re looking for a trainer who combines technical expertise with genuine empathy, Lou offers a level of clarity and connection that transforms how people understand their dogs.

Assistant Trainer Zara, aka Zara the Wonder Dog, is an essential member of the team.
Since being rescued from the pound she has played a fundamental role in the rehabilitation and, therefore, rehoming of hundreds of rescue dogs.
Her ability to remain calm in pressured situations and teach distressed dogs how to behave makes her an invaluable member of our team.
When not working Zara loves to cuddle up to big brother Stan. She’s also dedicated to increasing her impressive jumper collection.

Emma – Assistant Trainer
Emma’s experience in the rescue world spans every stage of a dog’s journey – from working with street dogs in Thailand, accompanying them on flight-angel transports to the USA, to hands-on work within UK rescue, and finally supporting owners as their adopted rescue dogs settle into home life. This breadth of experience has given her deep insight into fear, uncertainty, and the behavioural challenges rescue dogs often carry.
She is known for her calm, steady presence – a quality that helps anxious or overwhelmed dogs feel safe enough to relax, explore, and begin building confidence.
Outside of dog training, Emma is an aerial hoop and pole enthusiast. Her commitment to movement, discipline, and learning new skills mirrors the thoughtful, grounded way she supports dogs and their owners.

Big Stan brings a wealth of life and rescue experience to the team, having lived both in and out of rescue with a variety of people and animals.
He is a calm, wise old man, who helps to provide a secure environment for nervous dogs.
Due to his size and age he is most often found snoring on a big bed with Zara close by his side.
